The Why of the Proposal
The proposal aims to enhance efficiency within Reform DAO’s multisignature setup without reducing security. The current structure, while effective, sometimes leads to delays due to signers being located in different time zones and frequently occupied with other commitments.
By adding PauluzRFRM, a core contributor and full-time team member, the DAO ensures that transactions can be reviewed and approved promptly, maintaining alignment with the constitution. This addition increases availability among signers while preserving transparency, as all new wallets will be publicly disclosed and verifiable.
The Longer Explanation of the Proposal
This proposal recommends expanding the total number of Reform DAO multisignature signers from five (5) to six (6), while keeping the signature threshold at three (3). The structure defined in Proposal IPR2.4 remains unchanged, with no existing signers replaced.
The need for this adjustment became clear during a recent holiday period when multiple signers were unavailable, delaying critical contract changes. To avoid such issues in the future, PauluzRFRM a full-time contributor fully dedicated to Reform DAO will be added as an additional signer. This ensures continuous coverage, operational reliability, and stronger accountability.
